Confirmation of a major result
VK Neretvanski Gusar is proud to announce that our member Roko Mijić has officially been categorised by the Croatian Olympic Committee as a Croatian Athlete of the 4th Category - Elite Athlete.
The Croatian Olympic Committee decision was issued on 10 June 2026, and the categorisation is valid from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2027.
The categorisation was achieved based on his excellent sporting result - 6th place at the 2026 European Junior Championships in the junior men's quadruple sculls.
Recognition of work, discipline and continuity
This recognition confirms Roko's dedication, daily effort in training, the professional work of his coaches, the strong support of his family, and the continued commitment of VK Neretvanski Gusar to developing top young athletes.
Roko's result and official categorisation are also a strong motivation for the entire club, especially for the younger generations of rowers who are just beginning to build their sporting path.
